Here is a great resource that I have used to help me in the past with reading Inferno. Even though I have read Inferno multiple times, this website helps me keep the different circles and key sinners in order.
I figured this might be helpful in making connections between Inferno and Beloved for those who have read Dante and for those who haven’t. It gives a broad overview of each circle on the main page and then further detail when you click on the specific circle. The sinners that Dante the Pilgrim talks to in each circle are for the most part mentioned specifically, along with any “monsters” that are mentioned in the poem.
